Wallis + Josh had a beautiful wedding celebration at Mattie's Green Pastures in Austin, Tx. Wallis + Josh came to Benevo Events as an already-married couple ready to celebrate their love for one another! They got married during COVID, having their first wedding via zoom. We knew that because these unforeseen circumstances had affected their wedding day, we had to make their dreams come true and give them a day they would never forget! We planned a welcome party + wedding celebration for Wallis + Josh and loved getting to know the couple throughout this fun and exciting process.
While Wallis + Josh called Tennessee home, they decided to tie the knot here in Austin, Tx - a place that held so many special memories for them. One of our favorite things about Wallis + Josh and their wedding celebration was how intentional and unique it was planned and thought out. The couple wanted to host their welcome party at Juliet's Italian Kitchen, which hosted their first date in Austin many years ago. Josh knew that Wallis was the one, and drew a heart on the wall with her name written inside of it. This memory was made even more special when we were able to find the heart with Wallis' name in it on the night of their rehearsal dinner, still there and visible.
The wedding celebration was held at the breathtaking Mattie's Green Pastures. Wallis wore the most stunning black dress, which was designed and made by her mom. Again, there was so much thought and intention in the details of this day that we will never forget! They were surrounded by their friends + family and had a full day of fun and celebration.
Wallis had a specific vision in mind that we brought to life with the incredible blooms of Laura with Mountain Laurel Floral, and a fun addition of a champagne truck through Champagne Supply Co. The combination of these two incredible vendors made for a moment that we will always remember! It came together so beautifully and elegantly, creating a timeless space for all of the guests to enjoy.
For both the rehearsal dinner and wedding celebration, the couple celebrated and danced the night away with some of their closest friends and family. We had the best time with The Little Wedding Band and Zach Carney, who knew how to get the party started and the guests dancing. We will always recommend prioritizing and investing in great event entertainment, like a live band or DJ, we promise it's worth it!

Wallis + Josh finally got to celebrate their marriage and the next chapter of life with their closest friends and family all around them, and it was an honor to be a part of and watch it all come to life. Wallis + Josh have now welcomed their sweet baby girl into the world, and we couldn't be more excited for them! We are cheering you on and wishing you all the best. We love you and are so thankful to have you as a part of the Benevo Events Family!
