Dreamy Vintage Villas Wedding For Jordyn + Conner

We're not sure that we will ever get over this dreamy, elegant, wedding at the one and only Vintage Villas .With a beautiful waterfront view for the ceremony, and an open, spacious, classy space for the reception - this space was perfect for our sweet J + C's special day. Jordyn + Conner are the type of people that you want to celebrate forever and ever. We are so honored and thankful that we were able to play a part in making the visions and dreams that we talked about months leading up to the wedding day become a reality!

The details that make up a wedding day is by far one of our favorite things about the planning process. Our team of vendors helped make this day as special as it was! From Alpha Lit Austin taking the vibe to the next level with the marquee letters, to The Farmer & I adding a timeless, elegant touch with the floral arrangements - everything came together so wonderfully and exceeded all expectations. This team had a way of creating a space where the guests felt welcomed, cared for, and excited to celebrate the newlyweds!

We thought it would be fun to ask J + C some questions about their love story and journey that lead them to marriage. Their answers have us weepy, so of course we had to share!

First time meeting - "Conner and I met in our high school cafeteria our junior/sophomore years of high school. Since we were in different grades and attended different schools until high school, we never met until we happened to choose the same lunch table back in 2010. We started dating in the Spring of 2011 - the start of a decade of memories ahead of Conner's proposal! In those years, we attended high school dances, which gave way to date parties in college, all while spending several of those college years long distance, and even started our careers in different cities. Fortunately we made our way back to the same city when Conner moved to Houston a few years ago :-)"
Proposal Story - "Conner spilled the beans on my Christmas gift a few months early in 2020, letting me know he had booked us a trip for the following March to Napa - a place neither of us had been but both dreamed of going! My hopes definitely shot through the roof, but I reminded myself the trip would be wonderful with or without a proposal, but as the trip got closer, I definitely hoped it would be with. On our first day in Napa, we had a few tastings planned, one of which Conner had booked without giving me much detail. When we arrived at his reservation, we found ourselves at a stunning winery that was very private. Our sommelier recommended we take a stroll around the property and on that walk, Conner led us to the vines which sat on the most beautiful hill overlooking the valley and asked me to be his wife :-) Conner planned it out perfectly, including a photographer - so after the proposal we took photos around the property and then sat with the sommelier for an amazing tasting. Vaider will always hold a very special place in our hearts & in our wine stash ;-) We spent a few more days in Napa soaking up the excitement of our engagement and then headed home to Texas to what I thought was a dinner with our families to celebrate, but turned out to be an engagement party with all of our most important people. Conner crushed it from start to finish!"
How married life has been - "The freakin best. Marriage has far exceeded all of my expectations! It is such a blessing to wake up each day together and even on the long days to know that we are coming home to each other. I am so thankful for the companion and partner that I have in Conner."
